First class iTunes mailer
Following our launch of the Continental Airlines Business-First flat bed seat earlier this year, we've just organised exciting direct mail activity for them too.
Continental wanted to communicate to travel bookers and buyers in UK based financial corporations that they now deliver four flights a day from London Heathrow to New York, with the planes incorporating the new comfy seat which includes iPod connectivity.
To give the target audience a taster of their Business-First experience, we designed and organised distribution of an iTunes mailer to the target audience.
Positive change for fraud victims
We're delivering a marketing campaign for Action Fraud - UK's national fraud reporting centre – to motivate and empower people to report fraud and achieve a positive change in the overall experience of victims.
With a potential target audience of every adult in the UK, we're creating a range of interactive items to increase audience interest, including web banners, newsletters and posters.
We're also developing material for the police and public-facing financial institutions to use, including user-friendly downloadable guidance documents covering different types of fraud and what to look out for to avoid becoming a victim.
New website for Big Bow
We've been appointed by The Big Bow company to design and build its fabulous new website.
The company creates bows for larger-than life gifts that are impossible to wrap, such as cars or even a new home!
Drumming into the European market
Following our appointment to relaunch Gretsch Drums into the European market, we've created an engaging catalogue and website for them.
We undertook in-depth consumer research across target markets and devised a strategic and creative approach to capture market share, with one focus point being the versatility of the Gretsch sound.
We then launched Gretsch's new catalogue and myGretschDrums.com, featuring a video of Gretsch ambassador Karl Brazil recording with Renegades (aka Feeder).
Great British Summer draws closer
Great British Summer kicks off this month, with live screenings of Wimbledon, cricket and top films at three outdoor locations across London.
Liquid is handling design, social media and advertising for the Land Securities' event, taking place from June 21st to July 9th at New Street Square, Cardinal Place and Bankside. Follow all the activity on the Great British Summer website and twitter feed.
Specialized appointment
We're delighted to have been appointed to create and manage the launch of the 2011 range of road bikes for premium bike manufacturer Specialized.
The two-day launch will take place at Silverstone in July, finishing with an exciting Sportive cycling challenge.
Great British Summer
Sports fans in London will be able to enjoy the FIFA World Cup and Wimbledon in the glorious British summer later this year, courtesy of Liquid.
Following last year’s success, we’re once again organising ‘The Great British Summer’ for Land Securities - screening live international sport at New Street Square, Cardinal Place and Bankside.
Continental roadshow
Continental Airlines recently completed a successful roadshow across the UK and Ireland that showcased their comfy, new Business First Class flat bed seat.
We designed, built and delivered a unique structure for the Continental sales team to demonstrate the seat’s features to business customers at eight key cities, including Bristol, Manchester, Edinburgh and Dublin.
Passion for drumming
We’ve been appointed to launch Gretsch’s new premium drum kits to the European market.
The engaging marketing campaign will see the creation of a catalogue and interactive website, online social networking and brand ambassadors - including a photo shoot with Robbie Williams and his band!
Border Oak
We’ve just designed Border Oak’s new brochure for their beautiful Pearmain Cottage range of houses - as featured on Channel 4’s Grand Designs.
The brochure captures the character of the cottages by including hand drawn calligraphy and scrapbook style elements.
We updated their introductory brochure too and both will be used as promotional material at this month’s Homebuilding and Renovating Show at the NEC.

We’ve created another innovative microsite for Hitachi GST that promotes its Tough range of hard drives.

Turning on tomorrow
We’ve just delivered Samsung’s engaging consumer electronics launch for the second year running. We were responsible for the design and production elements of the event at Chelsea Football Club under the theme of Turn on Tomorrow. This included delegate invitation and management through to the build of all product displays spread over 1,600sq metres in the club's Great Hall.
We also organised a Gala dinner for Samsung’s delegates at the London Science Museum which included an amazing performance by the Britain's Got Talent superstars, Flawless!

Supporting filmmakers
We’ve been helping G-Technology to strengthen its ties with some of the world’s best independent filmmakers, by setting up and promoting its platinum sponsorship of the European Independent Film Festival 2010 (ÉCU) in Paris.
We were at the exciting event to deliver a range of activity, including a ‘Vlog team’ of videographers working with the leading blogger, Ben Blaine of shootingpeople.org, to capture and upload exclusive video footage, blogs and tweets during the festival.

COI roster for experiential and live communication
We’ve been appointed to appear on the Government’s Central Office of Information (COI) roster.
Chosen from a list of more than 100 agencies under the Experiential category, we’ll be on the framework for four years and it will provide us with opportunities to showcase our integrated approach to experiential marketing.
We were selected on the strength of our award-winning work for Uniqlo, Qantas and Hitachi.
G-Tech activity underway
We’ve just launched an impressive new website as part of our campaign for G-Technology by Hitachi. The website features top European creative artists driven to extremes to achieve their work and who trust their digital storage to the premium G-Tech external drives.
Further campaign activity includes on-going print and banner advertising all under the campaign line of ‘Driven Creativity,’ along with marketing and PR support for G-Tech’s platinum sponsorship of the European Independent Film Festival 2010.

Another HGST appointment
We’ve been appointed to deliver a consumer product marketing campaign on behalf of Hitachi GST and their Tough external drives across Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.
Our activity for this campaign will include the creation of a microsite, PR and banner advertising.
Samsung appointment
We’ve been appointed by Samsung to plan and deliver an engaging brand experience consumer electronics launch at Chelsea Football Club in March 2010.
The event will see trade press and independent retailers invited to watch new product demonstrations, have one-to-one meetings with sales representatives and enjoy evening entertainment.
Fighting fraud
We recently completed three important reports about the experiences and needs of fraud victims, on behalf of the National Fraud Authority (NFA).
The findings - displayed on the NFA website - are highly significant and will inform the NFA’s work to provide practical and targeted support to fraud victims.
Border Oak advert success
Border Oak Outbuildings were recently impressed by the success of an advertising campaign we delivered on their behalf.
Following a print advert in The Telegraph, their website traffic increased by 35% on the day and throughout the week.
Continental Airlines launch
Following Continental Airlines briefing us to launch its Business First class flat-bed seat, we kick started the activity by designing their exhibition stand at the World Travel Market. The seat lets passengers have a calm night’s sleep as it can be adjusted to many different comfy positions, including at 180 degrees. Other cool features on the seat include laptop connections that don’t need adaptors and iPod connectivity to onboard LCD monitors. We created the exhibition stand to incorporate an innovative film applied to a glass feature wall. The film obscured then revealed the seat to visitors, encouraging them to take a second look.
News International
We designed an exhibition stand for News International at the recent World Travel Market in London.
We created a modern working space for them to network with media buyers face-to-face; with the stand focusing on promoting its main titles including The Sun, The Times, The Sunday Times and News of the World.
Another award for Liquid PR
Our PR team is thrilled to have been recognised for the third year running at the Brand Experience Awards, walking away with a silver in the Live Performance/PR Stunt category for the launch of Uniqlo’s HeatTech clothing.
The campaign resulted in an impressive PR reach of 18 million people – including coverage in The Times, Grazia, GMTV and This Morning - and a 200% sales increase on HeatTech during the activity.
Hitachi ARG microsite
We’ve just launched Hitachi ARG’s innovative new microsite that sets new standards in the industry.
A futuristic robot called Mirai – which is unique to Hitachi - was developed by our CGI experts to navigate users around the site.

Hitachi GST appointment
We’ve been given a great new brief from Hitachi GST to plan and undertake a range of external communications activity – including advertising - for their newly acquired G-Tech external hard drives across the UK, France and Germany.
As part of this activity we will be working with some of Europe’s best photographers, filmmakers and musicians who rely on G-Tech products to digitally save their important work. Very cool!
Liquid PR arrives
The Liquid Way becomes a full-service creative communications agency with the launch of a new PR arm led by ex-Huntsworth director Jacqui Day.
The move reinforces Liquid’s existing success in public relations activity by adding a full media relations capability and positions the agency for continued growth despite the current recession.
Samsung event in Birmingham
Samsung’s independent dealer event takes place in Birmingham. Activity by The Liquid Way included all pre-event marketing, delegate handling and design and management of a 3-day event. The event occupied over 2000 sqft of exhibition space and was designed to encourage dealers to place orders despite the recession under an umbrella theme of ‘Entertainment comes home’.
One New Change
Liquid are appointed by Land Securities to create the ‘topping-out’ event for their One New Change development in London. When completed, the mixed retail and office development opposite St Paul’s Cathedral, will be one of the largest consolidated retail spaces in central London.
Tackling Fraud
Liquid are appointed by the National Fraud Strategic Authority to manage all consumer and internal communications.
Qantas A380 launch
Liquid launch the Qantas A380 in the UK at London’s BFI IMAX cinema attracting journalists and key industry partners. Liquid created a wow experience – a big experience for the world’s largest passenger aircraft at the UK’s largest cinema screen.
Activity included pre-event print and electronic invitation, an advertising wrap on the outside of the iMax, an interior exhibition and a 20-minute film in full HD.
Hitachi ARG appointment
The Liquid Way are appointed by Hitachi Air Conditioning to plan and implement all UK and Ireland communications. Through-the-line activity will include advertising, PR, print and digital, as well as strategy and planning.
Samsung Dealer event comes home
Following a pitch, Liquid are appointed by Samsung Electronics to design and manage their annual dealer launch in 2009. The event will be staged in March in Birmingham under the theme of ‘Entertainment comes home’ – launching new products across the entire range of brown and white goods.
Festive celebrations in New Street Sq
Christmas celebrations kick off at Land Securities’ New Street Square in London with an evening of live entertainment, complimentary drinks and canapés, ice sculptures and an ice bar. Ice kings and queens and mobile projection advertised the event in the surrounding area.
Eventia Awards wins
Liquid receive two further gongs for our creation of Hitachi’s ‘Inspire Life’ experience at the Eventia awards 2008. The event won accolade in categories for Best New event and Best Conference.
Qantas A380 UK Launch
The Liquid Way are appointed by Qantas Airways to launch their new A380 in the UK. Activity is planned for February 2009.
UNIQLO sales increase by 65%
An integrated campaign by Liquid to drive PR, store footfall and sales of UNIQLO’s HeatTech product launches at their Oxford Street flagship store and online.
As a result of the activity store sales of HeatTech increased by 65% and overall sales rose by 25% in a recession! PR reach was 18 million including online, broadcast and print. Highlights included Grazia, This Morning, The Sunday Times, The Independent, The Observer and the Daily Mail.
UNIQLO HEATTECH launch
UNIQLO, the Japanese fashion brand, appoint The Liquid Way with advertising partner CDP/Dentsu, to launch their HEATTECH range of thermal wear in London in November.
Brand Experience Award win
Following our success in the Brand Experience Awards in 2007 for our work for Land Securities, Liquid win again in 2008 with the award of Silver for our creation of Hitachi's ‘Inspire Life’ experience in the category of ‘Best Brand Performance’.
Virgin Galactic – One small step
Virgin Galactic take another step closer to launching the world's first private, environmentally benign, space access system, with the opening of their stand at the IAC show in Glasgow — the worlds largest space travel conference and exhibition. The exhibit, designed by The Liquid Way, captures the excitement of space travel and demonstrates the credentials of the Virgin Galactic proposition.

New Adapt site goes live
Following a full brand review for Adapt, the independent data managed services provider, Liquid launch a complete revamp of their web site. The launch is part of a development of the Adapt brand (created by The Liquid Way in 2005) re-positioning the company as a trusted partner in IT provision.
Land Securities Wii Olympics
Liquid bring a little bit of the Beijing Olympics to London with the Land Securities Wii Olympics.
As the culmination of a 3 month programme of events designed to raise awareness, drive footfall and increase dwell-time to their Cardinal Place retail development, we created 3 interactive Olympic sets equipped with Nintendo Wii's. Visitors to the events were able to compete in boxing, swimming and track events. Previous activities included live music performance, comedy nights and weekend kids activities.
Land Securities New Street Square
Liquid are commissioned by Land Securities to launch their new London mixed commercial and retail development; New Street Square in the City of London district.
Liquid launch Bankside development
The Liquid Way launch Bankside 1,2 and 3 for Land Securities, the UK's largest Real Estate Investment Trust with an integrated launch event. The development next to London's Tate Modern was launched with a bang with performances from Street Dancers and Japanese drummers, local retailer fashion shows and ‘self styled beat boxer Faith SFX’.
Virgin Galactic win
The Liquid Way are appointed by Virgin Galactic, the world's first private, space access system, to create their brand experience at the IAC show in Glasgow in September.
Meridian & Alfred Dunhill
The Liquid Way are commissioned to create launch material for the new Alfred Dunhill AD88 Sound System, engineered by Meridian. The launch brochure, which will be available to consumers in stores, utilises the brand strengths of both Alfred Dunhill and Meridian to appeal to a narrow target audience that appreciates the luxury and heritage of two of the UK's strongest luxury brands.
Bang & Olufsen European campaign
The Liquid Way create a pan-European campaign for premium AV brand, Bang & Olufsen. The campaign utilizes DM, advertising and POS to promote a price offer for combining the BeoSound1 compact music system and BeoSound6 MP3 digital player. The mailer features specially shot photography showing the combined products in different rooms around the home. The A5-size piece has been produced in Dutch, French and English.
Hitachi HiTechnologies@Microscience Show
The Royal Microscopical Society (RMS) Microscience Show opens in London with the Hitachi HiTechnologies presence designed and created by The Liquid Way.
The innovative stand communicated the strong Hitachi innovation message through the use of strong graphics and AV installations.
Adapt site receives Liquid boost
The Liquid Way complete the first stage development of the Adapt Web site resulting in a 700% increase in sales. A full revamp of the site including key messaging propositions and content management system will be completed in September.
New brand for a renewable energy future
Liquid complete branding and web implementation for Cape Verde Capital — the Wates Group renewable energy investment businesses. The company has been set up to invest in future energy innovations in solar, photovoltaic, wind power, solar thermal and biomass energy.
‘Cape Verde Islands’ were once an important destination for explorers on-route to the new world. The new marque created by The Liquid Way is inspired by the ‘compass rose’ used on Victorian maps — reflecting the pioneering of new forms of sustainable energy.
Qantas G'Day Summer Giveaway
Following the success of last year's ‘G'Day Giveaway’, Qantas again ask The Liquid Way to target the leisure trade with an updated incentive programme. The activity is aimed at increasing Qantas' market share and encouraging customers to ‘trade up’ and pre-book domestic flights across the key summer period. The campaign launches with trade press advertising, posters and promotional literature.
12 May: Hitachi Paris event
The second leg of Hitachi Inspire Life takes place over 3 days at Espace Grande Arche in Paris's La Defence district. The event was a development of the successful London February experience with all content re-worked to suit the French market.
Hitachi HiTechnologies win
Liquid is awarded the contract to create an exhibition brand presence for Hitachi High Technologies at this year's Microscience Show, ExCel.
American Airlines flagship shoot
Del completes a location shoot at Heathrow Terminal 3 today capturing the new uber-cool Business and First class check-in for American Airlines. The shoot took place literally as the contractors finished the site.
Hitachi Air Conditioning
The Liquid Way are appointed today by Hitachi Air Conditioning to improve relationships with air con installers and consultants. Work begins immediately with an installer CD-Rom tool to assist in the design and specification of air conditioning systems and with the design and installation of a new training facility at Hitachi's European headquarters in Maidenhead.
South Eastern rebrand
Liquid launch a revitalized brand for electrical contractor South Eastern. Originally briefed to produce a new brochure, Liquid proposed a full review of the existing brand marque as a number of variations were being used, resulting to a confused brand message.
As the brand was well-established with its target audience we proposed a development of the existing brand marque, while retaining the overall look and feel. Typeface and colour palette were also formalised to create a more cohesive brand.
Liquid inspires unique event
Hitachi ‘Inspire Life’, a unique two-day conference and exhibition, opened today in London. The event, devised and created by The Liquid Way, brings together 26 Hitachi Business Groups from across Europe. The main attraction is a 30-minute ‘walk-through’ experience demonstrating the benefits of the myriad of Hitachi Technologies which interact with our daily lives, often without us knowing. The experience is a mix of the super high tech with high definition CGI across massive 180 degree screens and live actors. The event moves to Paris in May.
Meridian communications boost
Liquid launch new customer and dealer communications for Meridian Audio, the luxury audio-visual manufacturer. The work is part of a complete brand development by The Liquid Way designed to move Meridian into the luxury market.
CWT at Business Travel 2008
Carlson Wagonlit Travel, the No.1 global travel management company, exhibit at the Business Travel Show in London with an exhibition stand designed and produced by The Liquid Way.
The creative execution employs a combination of dark wood flooring, white gloss laminate structures and high gloss red seating to create a modern, funky environment – reflecting the newly refreshed ‘make a lasting first impression’ CWT brand.
American Airlines launch
American Airlines appoint The Liquid Way to launch their new full-flat business class seat on the new 777 aircraft. Activity will be in June and focused in commercial centers in London.
ESPA Super Active launch
The new Super Active skin care range from ESPA is launched today by The Liquid Way. Activity includes brand positioning, collateral and POS within ESPA spas, treatment salons and Liberty and Harvey Nichols stores. Liquid created a blend of natural macro photography and cool scientific colour hues to highlight the high efficacy of the Super Active range of concentrates, complexes and masks.
Ian joins the team
Ian Thomson joins the Liquid creative team today as Senior Creative in 3D design. Ian joins us from HBM where he created 3D brand experiences for brands including Boeing, BT and Daikin.
Enter the Cyclops
Filming started today in London capturing high definition content for the opening section of the Hitachi Inspire Life experience conceived and directed by Liquid. Nine live actors were captured on green screen using a motion control Cyclops camera, last used in the Golden Compass.
New arrival
The Liquid Way is pleased to announce the arrival of Matt Hopkins in the role of senior designer. Matt's previous roles at both Landor and Wolf Ollins will serve him well as he tackles the complex brand communications problems of our ever-growing client base!

We are delighted to have been selected to work with luxury spa and skincare brand ESPA. The exciting brand work will be on the shelves from February 2008.
Adapt branding grows
Having successfully created the brand identity for Virtual Network Operator Adapt, our remit with them took another turn this month to one of implementation. We have been selected to provide a number of communications pieces including a corporate brochure, postcard mailer and online advertising. A quarterly customer communications and a customer referral campaign will follow early in the New Year. The success of the initial brand campaign has cemented our standing with this client and we are looking forward to offering even more support over the coming months as they continue to grow.
Meridian turns up volume
Premium audio brand, Meridian Audio, has selected The Liquid Way to help it raise brand awareness and clearly define its position within the AV market. Having recently come under new management, Meridian is committed to improving its brand equity — our work will help it to get its message out there — loud and clear!
Bentley event returns
Building on our successes over the last two years, we have once again been selected to design and produce the Bentley Motors Annual Associates Briefing. The event, for over 4,000 staff, will take place early in 2008.
On Demand online
The Liquid Way today launched the new On Demand website. The new site builds on the corporate identity work undertaken by Liquid last year and aims to help position On Demand as a global player in transactional TV.

Big presence at Business Travel Show
The Liquid Way records another great win in the travel sector, having been selected to design and implement the exhibition presence for Carlson Wagonlit (CWT) at next year's Business Travel Show. CWT has one of the largest presences at the show — one that The Liquid Way has worked at for over seven years.
New sector haul
A new win for us in a completely new sector: The Liquid Way was appointed to provide a suite of new marketing collateral for this industry leader. Marlow Ropes provides top-of-the-range (you guessed it) ropes to the Industrial, Defence and Marine industries.
Talking business with Avenir
The Liquid Way today helped Avenir Telecom launch its latest B2B proposition, with a new DM piece targeting IT resellers with a unique mobile connectivity offering. Advertising and a launch event will follow in early 2008.
Highly commended
Liquid have been awarded the accolade of highly commended in the recent Brand Experience Awards, category of best generation of PR, for the launch of Cardinal Place, the Land Securities retail development. The September 2006 launch was featured on both Capital Radio (with an audience reach of 200,000) and on Jonathon Ross's Saturday morning show with a further reach of 1.2 million. Print circulation reached 329,455 with overall circulation, including web, listed at over 770,000.
We're getting bigger
Liquid are pleased to welcome two new staff to the team; Julian Thomas joins us as Client Services Director with over 16 years of experience with brand agencies such as Interbrand and Design Bridge; and Lizzie Mildinhall joins the Account Management team with particular bias towards live events.
Start spreading the news
Liquid are commissioned by American Airlines to promote their new Stansted to New York routing to both Business and Leisure targets. Media will include a wide range of channels including radio, direct mail and face-to-face.
Trade campaign for Qantas
Liquid completes work on a six-week trade campaign for Qantas Airways targeting travel staff with key messages around their on-board product and network. The campaign will run with trade-journal partners TTG until the end of September with an incentive to win a shiny red Qantas Vespa.
Summer at Cardinal Place
Liquid launches a full programme of summer events for Land Securities designed to attract shoppers to their Cardinal Place retail destination in West London. Activity kicks off with ‘On your Bike’, a virtual cycle race taking place during the Tour de France - and continues with a series of events throughout the summer including a mini-farm and circus skills workshop.
We took American Airlines to Europe, now we're taking it to America
This month saw the completion of a 17-date European tour showcasing American Airlines new business class product to journalists, travel buyers and top tier travellers. The mobile unit visited nine cities including Brussels, Frankfurt, Paris, Rome and London. Integrated support included an email invitation to guests linked to a microsite enabling visitors to pick the venue and visiting time that best suited them. The campaign was so successful we are currently looking at replicating the activity in the US.
Brightening up the day
Liquid have brightened the working day for 60 call centre staff at Phones 4 U in Stoke with a full refit of their office environment. Our brief from Samsung Mobile, sponsors of the Phones 4 U environment, was to ‘brighten the workers day and be creative’ – two things that we adore! The completed project was handed over to the client today. Initial feedback was ‘They are loving it’!
Major Hitachi event win
Liquid are awarded a major new contract with Hitachi Europe Ltd, to design and produce a live event – to be executed in London and Paris in 2008. The project, against competition with three London-based agencies, was won based on our strategic integrated thinking and strong interactive creative.
Be the first
The Hitachi European Dealer event went live today in Estepona near Marbella. Liquid created a themed and branded environment including theatre area and exhibition area for 900 guests from five countries over four days. Our theme of ‘Be the first’, referred to Hitachi's pioneering spirit in the sector and the many new launches to be announced at the event. The project included an invitation, set, exhibition and all printed material.
On brand with David Salisbury
Liquid are appointed by leading bespoke hardwood conservatory company David Salisbury to undertake a complete brand audit and review. This initial phase, in partnership with PR agency Sidhu & Simon, will be completed in Autumn 2007 with a full through-the-line comms rollout in early 2008.
Gone to the dogs
"You blew the others out of the water, it really was one of the best presentations I have ever seen." The words of Samsung confirming that we had won the contract to design and manage the whole of their sponsorship programme at the Crufts Dog Show 2007. The project includes theming, consumer press advertising, a double deck exhibition stand and onscreen media.
Bentley Associates Event
Liquid complete the 2007 Annual Associates Event for Bentley Motors today. The event, devised, designed and produced by the Liquid team for a second year running, was – in the words of Bentley CEO and Chairman Dr. Paefgen "the best ever". The event to 4500 Bentley staff was held at Bentley Motors headquarters in Crewe.
Border Oak
Liquid have been awarded the contract to design the new introductory brochure for premium house builder and regular Grand Design participants Border Oak Design and Construction. Border Oak are leaders in the green oak frame construction business, a company where craftsmanship, design, detail and passion are all key to their offering.
Taking B&O there
Liquid are commissioned by Bang & Olufsen to create a global direct mail piece for their premium TV – the BeoVision 7.
