Independent dealer product launch for Samsung Electronics
The Challenge
The independent retailer channel had been hit hard in the biggest recession the UK for nearly 70 years.
Samsung challenged us to get them excited about their new product range of consumer goods and encourage them to agree to order large quantities of stock.
The Liquid Way
Our research into the target audience revealed the insight that in reaction to the recession consumers had started to ‘cocoon’– entertaining at home instead of eating out and enjoying home entertainment instead of going out to the cinema or clubs.
We created a launch event with the theme of ‘Entertainment comes home’. Integrated activity included all pre-event marketing, delegate handling and design and management of the 3-day event, occupying over 2000 sq ft of exhibition space.
Liquid Results
The event positioned Samsung as the prefect partner for independent dealers – providing them with attractive and high performance brown and white goods which took the effort out of cooking, cleaning and entertaining.
